Problem :
The client lacked a brand identity, a clear logo, and a website that communicated her services effectively. Her copy was overly long and unclear, and she needed a message that empowered clients to write without perfectionism.
Solution :
I designed a logo using an “M” shaped subtly like a crown with a book opening at its center. The aesthetic leaned into royalty—deep purples and gold accents—balanced with sketchbook scribbles to remind clients that drafts don’t need to be perfect. The website was designed for clarity, simplified copy, and a easy navigation path through services.
Challenge :
A major challenge was condensing excessive copy while maintaining her tone and message. I also had to balance the “royal” theme with approachability and creativity.
Summary :
The brand became polished, memorable, and emotionally aligned with the client’s mission: empowering storytellers at all stages. Users can now navigate the site easily and understand her services instantly.
