Graphic Design
Duran Group
A full rebrand and website redesign for a South Florida accounting and tax firm wanting to build trust and streamline client engagement.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Accounting Firm
Client :
Duran Group & Associates
Project Duration :
2 weeks

Problem :
Outdated brand and visuals that didn’t reflect the quality or personality of the firm—
Users felt intimidated or overwhelmed by financial content
No existing design system or brand standards
Need to balance professionalism with approachability
Lack of clarity around mission, tone, and brand personality
Key Problem to Solve:
How can we create a financial brand that feels precise, trustworthy, and friendly—while also modernizing the visual identity to appeal to both individuals and small businesses?

Solution :
I redesigned their logo into a unified, professional mark built around “DGA,” removing visual clutter and strengthening credibility. I created web-ready brand system to encourage rebuilt of their website. I also conceptualized a new web experience and client dashboard for future QuickBooks visibility.
Proposed solutions for development—
- Build a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with clear service pages
- Integrated appointment booking
- A practical tax-season FAQ

Challenge :
Overall, they needed a more serious, trustworthy brand presence. Condensing information into simple, bilingual sections while maintaining a professional tone required strategic clarity. The goal was to build trust through design without overwhelming users. The biggest challenge was to change the existing business culture to adapt to a more digital-friendly work space.
Outcome :
The firm now presents a refined and credible brand identity. The user experience findings have allowed us to think beyond the visual and focus on the client pain-points. The rebrand increased trust visually, yet there is much more to be done operationally.
Reflections:
Balancing professionalism and friendliness was key
Understanding client personality was as important as understanding their services
A design system brings clarity to brands that rely on credibility
The importance of visual accessibility in the financial sector
Next steps:
Full website redesign using the new system
Digital assets development
Social media brand templates
Ongoing brand evolution
